Spoiler-Free Review Feature
To keep the reading experience enjoyable for everyone, Fiic includes a built-in spoiler protection feature for reviews. When posting, users can mark their review as containing spoilers. This hides the content from others by default, replacing it with a “See Spoiler” button. Readers can then choose whether or not to reveal the spoiler, making it easy to engage with reviews without having key plot points ruined.

The home page highlights the top 20 trending books on the app, helping users discover what’s popular in real time. Each book card leads to a dedicated book page where users can explore a detailed summary, see other books in the series (if applicable), and read reviews from fellow readers—all in one place. This feature encourages discovery and deeper engagement with the book community.
BookShelf Feature
The Bookshelf is a visual, goal-driven feature that brings reading progress to life. Users can set a custom reading goal for the year, which generates a matching number of outlined book slots on their virtual shelf. As users finish books, each title is visually “filled in,” transforming the shelf into a colorful representation of their achievements. This interactive design turns reading goals into a fun, motivating experience.
Book Clubs
The Club page allows users to join and engage in virtual book clubs tailored to their interests. Users can browse and join multiple clubs, each showing its name, tags, and member count. They can also search for new clubs or create their own. Each club has a dedicated space divided into five interactive sections: Home (with a welcome message from the moderator), Current Read (featuring the club’s book with spoiler-free, chapter-based discussions), Polls (for voting on upcoming reads or topics), Discussions (open chatrooms for casual book talk), and Past Reads (an archive of books previously read by the club). This feature fosters community and thoughtful conversation in a fun, organized way.
Profile Page
The Profile page blends social features with a personalized reading experience. It displays the user’s name, bio, follower count, and book clubs joined. Below, the profile is divided into Posts (shared content like reviews), Lists (collections such as “Read” or “To Be Read,” plus custom ones), and Saves (bookmarked posts for later). It’s a central hub for tracking progress and sharing your book journey with others.
